Welcome to Northwood Elementary! 

 

Northwood Elementary School, a vibrant Kindergarten through Fourth Grade school in Marysville, takes pride in educating approximately 630 students. Our dedicated staff works diligently to forge strong partnerships with families and the community, ensuring a safe, warm, and personalized learning environment. At Northwood, we are committed to nurturing all aspects of our students' development—socially, emotionally, and academically.

A hallmark of our school is the innovative Dream Teams initiative. This program allows students to build meaningful relationships with peers and staff members across all grade levels. Each Dream Team consists of students from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade, and students remain with the same team throughout their entire tenure at Northwood. During Dream Team meetings and special days, students engage in a variety of fun activities and collaborative projects, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

In addition to Dream Teams, we take great pride in our Navigator Awards, which recognize students who embody our four Northwood Habits of Mind: being Respectful, Responsible, Creative, and a Leader. These awards celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students as they strive to exemplify these core values in their daily lives.
